As of June 2023, the user data of online services are as follows: the number of internet users in China reached 1.079 billion, anincrease of 11.09 million compared to December 2022. The internet penetrationrate reached 76.4%, an increase of 0.8 percentage points compared to December2022.
The operational status of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in August 2023
Public Charging Infrastructure status: In August 2023, the number of public charging stations increased by 61,000 compared to July, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 39.9%. As of August 2023, member units reported a total of 2.272 million public charging stations, comprising 963,000 DC charging stations and 1.307 million AC charging stations. The average monthly increase in public charging stations from September 2022 to August 2023 was approximately 54,000.
The cloud computing industry in China
In 2022, China's cloud computing market reached 455 billion yuan, growing by 40.91% compared to 2021. The public cloud market accounted for 325.6 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 49.3%, while the private cloud market reached 129.4 billion yuan, growing by 25.3%. Despite global growth at 19%, China's cloud computing market continues to experience rapid development and demonstrates high resilience in challenging economic conditions. It is projected that by 2025, China's overall cloud computing market size will exceed one trillion yuan.
The gaming industry data in 2023 H1
During the first half of this year, the domestic gaming market in China experienced a slight decline in actual sales revenue, reaching 144.263 billion yuan. However, there was a notable month-on-month growth of 22.2%, indicating signs of recovery. The year-on-year decline was primarily attributed to slow consumer recovery from January to April. Although revenue increased significantly from May onwards, it was not enough to offset the earlier decline. Based on this trend, a strong rebound is expected in the second half of the year.
The intelligent connected vehicle in the Chinese market
Based on CAICT data, connected car numbers are projected to steadily increase. By 2025, it is anticipated that the total number of connected vehicles will reach 259 million, representing approximately 75.6% of all vehicles on the road.With the rise of new energy vehicles, increased adoption of intelligent domain control, assisted driving, an increasing number of newly released passenger cars will come equipped with connectivity devices. This trend will significantly contribute to the growth of the embedded connectivity market. In 2022, China's fleet of connected passenger vehicles reached approximately 73 million. It is projected to reach 119 million by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.9%.
